About Me

  1. Education

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of North Carolina, having earned my Masters of Social Work from Fordham University in New York and my Bachelor of Arts in Human Development and Family Science. My clinical experience combines medical social work and therapy, with a growing focus on maternal mental health and supporting women through their unique journeys.

  2. Certifications & Advanced Trainings
    • LCSW with over 10 years of experience
    • Postpartum Support International Advanced Training (2023)
    • American Society For Reproduction Medicine Training For Mental Health Professionals (2025)
  3. My Therapeutic Methods

My therapeutic approach is personalized and adaptable, recognizing that each person’s journey is unique. I draw from multiple evidence-based methods to create a tailored treatment plan that best serves your individual needs and goals. Here are some of the therapeutic approaches I integrate into my practice:

    • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): A well-established approach focusing on identifying and changing negative thought patterns and behaviors.
    • Exposure and Response Prevention: An intervention designed specifically for managing OCD, anxiety, and panic disorders through controlled exposure and response training.
    • Dialectical Behavioral Therapy: An effective therapy that combines cognitive-behavioral techniques with mindfulness, emphasizing emotional regulation and interpersonal effectiveness.
    • Somatic Experiencing Therapy: A body-oriented approach to healing trauma and other stress disorders, focusing on the client’s perceived body sensations.
    • Acceptance & Commitment Therapy: A therapy that encourages embracing thoughts and feelings rather than fighting or feeling guilty for them, with a commitment to taking action in line with personal values.
  4. Personal Life

Beyond my role as a therapist, I love the life I’ve built here in North Carolina with my husband and our sweet dogs, Koba and Luna. When I’m not supporting clients, you can find me enjoying leisurely walks with our pups, practicing yoga, or soaking in the sun at our beautiful NC beaches. I’m a huge fan of mint chocolate chip ice cream, and I love exploring local restaurants with my family – though Alpaca’s steak fries remain an all-time favorite!
